You know that nature is free. You probably also know that it’s almost Summer. I live in Los Angeles County and until this very moment, summer and nature have been nowhere in sight. I woke up this morning and – BAM! I got high off a big old hit of sunshine.
Nature is not only free, it is good for your mental health.
It’s a horrible cliché about us women isn’t it? We just can’t control ourselves in that big, red, one-stop shop. I hate when stereotypes are just a little bit true. Luckily, there are strategies you can use to stop overspending.

I’m in my early thirties. In 2015, I got married. In 2016, we bought our first home (a two-bedroom, town-home). The year after that, we had our first child. In 2018, my goal is to become awesome at all this #adulting. My story is painfully average. Life is good, but money is tight. Choices are limited, and responsibilities can feel heavy.
